TravelGTA respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users to do the same. This Copyright Policy explains how copyright concerns are handled on the TravelGTA platform, including how to report infringing content, how reports are reviewed, and the actions TravelGTA may take when violations occur.
By using TravelGTA, you agree to comply with this Copyright Policy, our Terms of Service, and all applicable copyright laws.
1. User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for the content they upload, publish, or share on TravelGTA.
By posting content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own the content, or
- You have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, or legal authorization to use and publish the content.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Photos
- Videos
- Music
- Audio
- Graphics
- Logos
- Written content
- Other copyrighted materials
Users may not upload content that infringes another person’s copyright or other intellectual property rights.
2. Audio & Music Requirements
TravelGTA currently supports only the following audio options:
- Original video audio that the user has the legal right to use
- Music provided through TravelGTA’s licensed music library
Users may not upload copyrighted music obtained from third-party platforms such as:
- TikTok
- Spotify
- Apple Music
- YouTube
- Any other copyrighted source
unless they possess all necessary legal rights and permissions to use that audio.
TravelGTA reserves the right to remove content containing unauthorized copyrighted audio.
3. Required Copyright Certification
Before publishing or scheduling content containing media, users may be required to certify that:
- They own the rights to the uploaded content, or
- They are using music supplied through TravelGTA’s licensed music library, or
- They otherwise possess the legal rights required to publish the content.
TravelGTA may maintain a record of this certification, including the date, time, associated account, and other relevant technical information for compliance and record keeping purposes.
Submitting this certification does not transfer responsibility from the user to TravelGTA.
4. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on TravelGTA infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright complaint.
To help us investigate, please include:
- Your name and contact information
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- A description or link to the allegedly infringing content
- A statement that you believe, in good faith, the use is unauthorized
- A statement that the information provided is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf
Incomplete reports may delay or prevent review.
5. How TravelGTA Reviews Reports
After receiving a copyright complaint, TravelGTA may:
- Review the reported content
- Request additional information from either party
- Temporarily restrict or remove the content
- Notify the user who uploaded the content
- Conduct any additional investigation deemed appropriate
TravelGTA reviews reports in good faith but does not guarantee that every report will result in removal.
Each report is evaluated individually.
6. Content Removal
TravelGTA reserves the right to remove or disable access to content that:
- Appears to infringe copyright
- Is alleged to infringe copyright
- Violates applicable law
- Violates the TravelGTA Terms of Service
- Violates this Copyright Policy
- Creates legal or operational risk for TravelGTA
Content may be removed with or without prior notice where permitted by law.
7. Counter-Notifications & Appeals
If your content has been removed or disabled in response to a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was made in error or that you have the legal right to use the content, you may submit a counter-notification or appeal.
To help us review your request, please include:
- Identification of the content that was removed or disabled.
- An explanation of why you believe you have the legal right to use the content.
- Any supporting documentation, licenses, permissions, or other evidence supporting your claim.
- Your name and contact information.
TravelGTA may request additional information to verify your claim before making a decision.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification or appeal, TravelGTA will review the information provided and may restore the content if appropriate under applicable law and our policies. We reserve the right to maintain the removal of content where we determine that doing so is appropriate to protect the rights of copyright owners, comply with applicable law, or protect the Platform and its users.
Submitting a counter-notification or appeal does not guarantee that content will be restored.
8. Repeat Copyright Violations
TravelGTA maintains a repeat infringer policy.
Users who repeatedly upload content that infringes copyright may be subject to one or more of the following actions:
- Warning notices
- Removal of individual posts or reels
- Temporary feature restrictions
- Account suspension
- Permanent account termination
TravelGTA reserves the right to determine what constitutes repeated infringement based on the facts and circumstances of each case.
9. Good Faith Reporting
Submitting false, misleading, fraudulent, or abusive copyright reports is prohibited.
TravelGTA may reject reports that appear to be submitted in bad faith and may take action against users who repeatedly abuse the reporting process.
